I remember when we first reached out to Carlo from Harmony House to help us with our son, who was suffering substance abuse issues. We had tried a variety of different ways to help our son, but nothing was resonating. Carlo was very honest, clear and understanding of problems our son faced.
There was never a time he didn’t help with so many parts of this tough journey. Carlo would help with rehabilitation requirements, doctor care, driving our son to specialist services amongst so much else that we simply did not know how to navigate ourselves as parents.
Carlo promised us he would help “get our son back”. These words were strong and through extremely tough, challenging and sometimes hopeless situations, we got our son back thanks to Carlo and his program at Harmony House.
The specialised care, structured program and ability to learn, recover and move forward are unique to Carlos Harmony House. Carlo is a very caring, understanding man and with extensive experience in rehabilitation and the best way to move on in life, with community and connection.
Carlo has a unique way to help individuals. He can spend time getting to know each person and will really try to understand their personalities and challenges to overcome.

In July 2022 my world came crushing down, when I learnt my son (29) was an ice addict. My family and I immediately knew we needed to get my boy help, it had spiralled out of control.
The usual bi product of addiction, loss of work, loss of assets, loss of friends, debt and not to mention great physical deterioration which all happened in a very short amount of time.
My nephew advised me to call Carlo (Harmony House), I explained our situation to him and he asked for my son and I to visit Harmony House the following morning. I had no idea what to expect or what the setting would be.
We arrived at 9am to a beautifully presented house in St Kilda with a very homely feel, I definitely was not expecting to see this but I was very relieved to see how nice it was. We met Carlo and proceeded into a meeting room, Carlo struck me as a little subdued initially, however, very knowledgeable and honest. He had seen it all before and asked to leave my boy there for the day and to pick him up at 3.30pm.
Leaving his house, he put his arms around me and said “it’s okay, he will be okay”. (I think I cried the whole way home)
Still very uncertain about how this man could fix my broken world, I was anxious to pick my son up and see what had transpired within a few hours’ time. On my return, Carlo told me all I needed to know, what the facts were and what needed to be done. My son gravitated to Carlos’ system immediately, he was introduced to an educational program that’s made him understand the meaning of addiction and how to fight it. Today my boy is 7 months clean and going strong, he is working fulltime, has a girlfriend, has reconnected with his friends and is embracing his family like he once used to. I don’t have enough knowledge to express my gratitude to Carlo and his system. He was heaven sent to us, these days my wife and I sleep in peace, thanks to Carlo.
